Over the years I have been in a few different roles leveraging Scrum to build software products.  I spent a few years as a Product Owner.  In this role I learned a lot about aligning the way I think and work to a more product focused minset.  Being in a Product Owner role taught me a great deal about how important it is to get teams to fully understand the problems or opportunities they are directly supporting with the work they do.  Understanding who your customer is and the benefits they get from the work we do is an excellent motivator.  I have also spent a few years in a Scrum Master role.  Being in this role has given me an opportunity to wear many hats and learn a lot about how fun it is to set others up for success.  I have worked with teams that have no experience and some that have a variety of expereiences working with Scrum.  Helping to put them all together to develop a uniquely capable team is a lot of fun.  My experience as an Agile Coach has given me an opportunity to be part of agile transformation and the successful implementation of Scrum as well. Coaching has taught me to think more strategicly and allows me to interact with teams and leadership at various levels.  Watching an organization and teams take on this huge challenge and successfully implement Scrum is an exciting thing to watch and be a part of.
