Have Fun, Learn a Lot, Get Certified (guaranteed exam pass)
The Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster™ (CSM) Certification is the most well-established and respected cert in the Agile Community. It is often the starting point on a journey towards agility. Grow-Lean’s CSM is delivered as a fun, interactive, hands-on, workshop.
At the end of the session you will be registered with the Scrum Alliance to take the certifying exam. You will be a Certified ScrumMaster after passing the exam. More importantly, you will be better able to implement or grow agile in your organization.
You will learn how the Scrum framework, which is conceptually simple, can dramatically improve time to market, quality, employee satisfaction, customer value and company ROI. You will also learn that every organization, team and individual needs to take a different path on the road to agility.

You will gain a practical understanding of the roles, artifacts and ceremonies of Scrum, via hands on exercises, discussion, fun games, and immersion.
- Roles: ScrumMaster, Product Owner, Team Member
- Ceremonies: Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review & Sprint Retrospective
- Artifacts: Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Burndown Chart
You will learn how Scrum exists in a larger organizational context, and how it is similar to and different from, traditional waterfall projects. In addition to Scrum, we will review other influential Agile Frameworks and how they align.
- Extreme Programming: Scrum superset for engineering excellence, including Test Driven Development, refactoring (keeping a code base clean) and pair working.
- SAFe™: Scaling framework that provides additional roles, ceremonies and artifacts.
- Kanban: Visualize, limit WIP, create flow, make policies explicit, change slowly
- Lean: The mother of agile, focus on value, create flow, optimize
- Lean Startup™: An approach to mitigating business risks by getting to market quickly with a release that is also an experiment, learning from it, and adapting based on learnings.
Exercises, discussions, simulations, games (yes, we really mean games), case studies, examples and fun (yes, even jokes) are interwoven throughout the course to illustrate the principles being taught in an immersive, engaging manner so that you learn, while enjoying yourself.

Testimonials
Grow-Lean takes pride in delivering the highest quality training experience. We have included a small set of feedback comments from private and public clients.

Thank you very much for allowing me to attend the ScrumMaster training. You have certainly achieved black diamond skills in delivering this course.
I feel like I benefited greatly from the experience. The part of the course that touched on the fact that software development must be implement in a way that supports agile, was of particular inters to me. One big thing architecture, (the opposite of loosely couple – highly cohesive) does not support incremental changes. Design patterns and service oriented architecture; however, would support agile.
Driving home an understanding of the essence of agile was of great value.
You have always been impressive professional; however, this weekend I came to realize you are among the industry leaders in your area.

I attended David's CSM class and it was the best training class I have ever attended. David's Agile knowledge is impressive, he knows how to get you to thoroughly grasp the concepts by using real world examples and in class he challenges you by actively participating in a Scrum.
I highly recommend David!

I attended David's CSM course in Edison, NJ and it was, by far, one of the top 10 things I have done during my career in the software development industry. David's presentation of Scrum concepts was engaging, specific, descriptive, and actionable. One of my favorite elements of the course was the way David consistently tied the Scrum concepts we were learning to real world examples. He also did a great job of explaining how Scrum can be applied in the corporate world despite organizational pressures and fear of the methodology. David also did a great job of providing the tools needed to continue growing and learning outside of his course. I was so pleased with David's training that I decided to take the CSPO training that he provided as well - though there is some overlap in the two courses I knew that David's insight would prove invaluable and it has.
I would recommend David to anyone that wants to understand more about software development and Scrum - I can't wait for David to offer another course that I could take from him in the future!

Our company hired David for three days of Scrum/Agile training. Even before the training began, I knew we had chosen the right person for the job.
I had numerous discussions with David in advance, so that he could tailor his training to our specific environment and needs. The training he provided was informative, fun, and kept everyone wanting more! David's passion and dedication to providing exceptional training were evident throughout every minute of the training, and we can definitely attribute our success in Agile to the training we received from him!

I took CSPO Training with David in Herndon, VA and it was truly the most useful and best delivered training I’ve had to date! He did an amazing job customizing the content to make it light and yet extremely relevant to the nature of our work. Not only did I gain a much better understanding of the idea and purpose of Agile, but I now have a different view of my role on the scrum team and how my work can contribute to the overall vision of the organization.
David is an expert at what he does. He knows how to engage the audience and make you think out of the box.
The real life examples and jokes were priceless!
Two days well spent!

David is an exceptional Agile trainer & presenter and I will highly recommend him to anyone. I attended his CSPO and CSM course. He is energetic and engaging and always open for feedback/ suggestions to make learning simple and fun. The best thing about David is that he is always available for you. I remember calling him after 8 months and was surprised to see how he still remembered that class. He was on his vacation but still took some time out to discuss few Agile concepts with me.
I salute his dedication.

David is an excellent instructor!
It's a gift whenever you have and instructor that has real world experiences and combining with what may appear theoretical.
I appreciated David's ability to make it real for us.

David Bulkin is the best instructor that I've had and I've had many. He is dynamic, energetic, to the point and extremely knowledgable.
I'm positive that taking this course and getting my certification will lock down a position for me.
A new career! Exciting!
Thank you!
