It was very clear from the outset that John not only knew the subject he has teaching but that he was passionate about subject and the teaching of it. The delivery was engaging, open, honest and supportive of student feedback and questions. I would highly recommend undergoing training with Agile Affinity!

John is clearly experienced and knows the subject and the peculiarities of the SCRUM world. I learned a lot with him and this is saying much seen all my years of experience in SCRUM. Proof that there is always something new to learn. Not a fan of his slightly unsettling fixations on dad jokes, which broke my concentration and forced me unwillingly to laugh (it is not a metaphor. He asked "Why aren't you laughing?" every bloody time). His style I suppose. Not a fan is my personal opinion. Besides that, I recommend this course warmly.

Training was very interesting and interactive. Jahn is best trainer I came across as of now.

John is an excellent teacher. His teaching style is engaging (the music choice was great), and he made sure all the principles of Scrum were clear. It was great to be able to see how Scrum should be done, and John gave real life examples to help put theory into practice.

The course was very well delivered by John Barratt, who brought plenty of humour (and some great, but also questionable music choices) whilst delivering a valuable and interesting course. I wasn’t familiar with scrum, but I left the course fairly confident in utilising the framework to the betterment of an organisation and delivering a product. I have immediately approached my organisation and offered to utilise scrum to implement 47 key changes, recently identified during an external review. I have the confidence to not only deliver, but succeed - which demonstrates the quality of course delivery. Thanks again. Geraint

I have completed a lot of online courses and this has been my favourite by far! Our instructor John was brilliant, like the best friend I wish I had. I learnt a lot, but was entertained throughout. It had it all, quizzes, videos, games, music, Gandalf! If you are on the fence about taking this course, just do it. You won’t regret it ❤️

Really enjoyable and informative course, albeit only 2 days, there was lots of new information to digest, this was made easier with the varying delivery methods used to overcome the participation common with a virtual course.

Excellent course, took the exam the day after and got a 98% pass so very happy with the result and the quality of teaching. You can clearly see that John enjoys what he does which makes the course easy to go through. Thank you again and will look at other courses with yourselves in the near future
