Wing Gee

Wing Gee is a Director of Software Development at Enverus, a global leader in providing an electronic invoicing and payment solution using web and mobile based technologies for the Oil and Gas industry. Wing is currently located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and he is providing full-time agile coaching to all of Enverus' Agile teams and leaders.

Wing is a highly motivated, organized, and results-oriented professional with over 20 years of leadership experience building and managing large multi-site software and IT teams. Skilled in all areas of software development and IT with a strong background in Agile methodologies, enterprise applications, mobile development, and web-based applications.

Wing completed his Electrical Engineering degree with a Computer Minor at the University of Calgary. He has held multiple roles throughout his career including a Software Developer, Team Lead, ScrumMaster, Agile Coach, Manager, and Director. He is currently a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

Wing is passionate about software development and he is always looking for opportunities to improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for his teams. He initially started developing software applications using waterfall and Extreme Programming (XP). He was responsible for implementing Agile at Pason Systems in 2002 after he saw the value with Scrum, and how it can help his teams deliver software sooner.

Wing is a dedicated and experienced professional with a proven track record in providing vision, and developing strategies that support a company’s business goals by working closely with Product Owners and customers. He is recognized for his ability to engage employees to deliver projects with high business value on time, within budget, and with high quality.
