Sunil Gopal

I grew up in the ‘silicon city’ Bengaluru, after completing graduation I started my professional career with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a software developer, I learned new things, made friends, and became passionate about computer programming. While at CSC I felt the urge to know about How a Software industry works? This began a transformation within me.

During my period in CSC, I came across the Agile and Scrum framework and it immediately resonated with my ideas about Management and teamwork. Thus, started my journey in the world of Agile.

Later I moved on in my professional career and currently working with Allscripts which follows Scrum for their process of delivery. Being a part of a Scrum team and playing the role of Scrum Master, enticed me more and more to learn about Agile and Scrum and what difference it can bring about by incorporating simple and timely changes in our day-to-day activities. The traits of servant leadership came naturally to me, very soon I realized the underlying power and transformational ability of this simple framework since then I became a strong proponent of Agile and Scrum. I have explored other frameworks of Agile such as SAFe and have been a Certified SAFe AgilIst

I strongly feel that Agile and Scrum will transform the world of work, I am observing that transformation taking place around me, yes there are challenges that need to be overcome by the community of people who are part of this transformational wave. I feel honored to witness this transformation and be a part of the community which is making it happen.
