Janet Waite has more than 20 years experience in the insurance field and has held positions such as Life/Health Insurance Agent, Quality Analyst, Business Analyst and Project Manager within business units. Her most recent experience has been as a Project Manager within the Information Technology department and most recently as a Portfolio Manager for two large portfolios focused on sales and enhancements and manages a team of Project Managers.
Her passion for Project Management led her to build the project lifecyle for the Information Technology department and has grown into being a champion for Agile and Scrum practices.
She holds the following:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- SAFe Practitioner (SP)
- SAFe Agilist (SA)
As an active member in a Toastmasters corporate club, she has achieved her Competent Communicator and Competent Leader designations and has held the following positions:
- President - multi year
- Vice President of Public Relations
As a lifelong learner, she continues to gather skills and experiences to enhance her work and enjoys coaching and mentoring.
