What is the difference between the In-Person and Live Online facilitation styles?
Certification courses are provided in multiple facilitation styles to cater to students’ learning styles and specific needs. All of our CSM and CSPO certification courses are a minimum of 14 hours of CST/student contact and will cover the designated learning objectives. We cap our live online course size to 30 to maximize the students’ learning experience and engagement.
- In-Person Courses require students to physically attend a classroom with their Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). These are typically held for two consecutive days with 7-8 hours of class time per day.
- Live Online Courses allow students to attend a certification course from the comfort of their home. The CST will teach the class in real time using a webcam and tools that allow students to interact with one another so they may come to understand the Scrum framework. These classes are highly interactive; students are able to virtually collaborate with one another. These classes may be held for multiple consecutive days with shorter hours to maintain focus and engagement. Our CSTs have developed unique, creative ways to create a transformational online course experience with a globally distributed audience. Do online courses come with certification?
Yes. We have adapted to bring you our CSM, CSPO and all other courses and certifications in a Live Online format. You will experience the same rigorous content and connection.
Can I register for a live online course outside of my region?
You can take advantage of ALL our Live Online offerings. This means you no longer need to sign up for a course with the closest Certified Scrum Trainer in your city or travel. We believe this new format will enable you to engage with a global network and create new connections with people with different perspectives and backgrounds. Just make sure you select the training in the language and timezone you prefer.
Is there a discount for live online courses?
Scrum Alliance does not set the price of any courses. We never have. Each Certified Scrum Trainer sets the prices for their educational offerings. Scrum Alliance however, guarantees the high quality of all courses, in person and Live Online. All Scrum Alliance Certified Trainers from over 30 countries have gone through a long and arduous process and have been vetted by the community to be able to deliver these highly reputable Scrum and agile certifications.
Are all Live Online courses the same in regard to facilitation and schedule?
Scrum Alliance prides itself in its esteemed community of Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs), each with a unique background, industry experience, and teaching style. Our CSTs have developed their own tools and methods to promote interactive, collaborative learning. Each course provides a different virtual classroom experience in order to highlight our diverse trainer community.
