Richard Linstead

Richard is a senior innovation executive, with 15 years experience in developing and delivering user-focused products and services, across a variety of industry verticals. He is passionate (and very vocal) about the power of Lean and Agile principles to enable genuine disruption, and provide the next generation of business and consumer opportunities. 

Richard has developed and managed large cross-functional delivery and development teams at digital agency Cimex, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and is currently Head of Product Delivery at innovation consultancy Vivant. He has helped with major digital transformation initiatives to focus organisations on the needs of the customer, rather than the pre-conceptions of the business. A firm believer and champion for the use of Agile practices at scale to effectively manage the inherent uncertainty of product development and changing technology. 

With a background and skillset that straddle brand, product, technology and delivery, I focus on capability and flexibility and have coached and developed teams to challenge existing processes and drive through iterative change. Above all, as either entrepreneur or intrapreneur, I aspire to create and maintain the energy, efficiency and passion of a start-up in the teams I manage, and the products we create.
