The Advanced Certified ScrumMaster® (A-CSM®) course is part of the Scrum Alliances Path to Certified Scrum Professional®. The A-CSM® is an in-depth two-day immersion into the world of the ScrumMaster role. This course takes up where Certified Scrum Master® (CSM®) left off and takes your Scrum Master skills to the next level. In the Advanced Certified Scrum Master®- (A-CSM®) you’ll be focused on exploring your role as Scrum Master in relation to the product owner, the team, and the organization.

The two-day workshop is full of interactive exercises, practical real-life examples, and lively discussion and will equip you with the knowledge required to move past understanding Scrum just as process. It will help you focus on using Scrum to address the issues that arise in your Agile environment.

The class explores Agile Facilitation and Agile Coaching and how the ScrumMaster uses these skills to support the team, the Product Owner and the Organization.

Who should attend

This program is designed for practicing ScrumMasters who have completed CSM®. Scrum Masters who want to challenge their teams to improve the way Scrum and Agile principles are applied. They have demonstrated experience, documented training, and proven knowledge in Scrum.

Prerequisites are:

Current Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) certification with Scrum Alliance.
At least two years of work experience in a Scrum Master role in the last five years. (In order to validate work experience, it must be entered on candidate’s Scrum Alliance profile in Scrum Experience section where it is noted that this is required for Path to CSP applications.)
Day-to-day involvement with at least one Scrum Team and a mandate to work with the broader organization.

Commitment

You will be required to dedicate yourself to 100% of the instructor led time to achieve the certification creditials.

Cancellation Policy

In order to receive a refund you must notify us via email ([email protected]) NO LATER THAN 10 BUSINESS DAYS prior to the class start date. Cancellation requests received after that will be issued a credit that can be applied towards a future class within the next 12 months.
