Jeff Williams, Certified ScrumMaster
Jeff’s focus is on applying the Scrum framework and methods beyond the confines of the software development domain, to improve business results at the cross-functional level in organizations. He brings over 20 years of leadership experience in product management, sales operations, marketing, customer advocacy and strategic planning to his clients. His claim to fame is bringing order to the chaos of business, effectively bridging functional and cultural chasms by building strong teams, trusted relationships, and practical processes. He has facilitated global organizational transformation and business process improvement initiatives for a variety of Fortune 50 companies, by focusing on a “customer-looking-in” view of the business.
He has extensive international business experience, and was directly responsible for multinational field operation organizations in companies ranging from a $40 billion global networking leader to a $1 million software startup. Jeff especially enjoys leading an executive team through the process of developing a long-range vision, building a set of compelling and differentiated strategies, and then connecting the dots from vision to strategies to execution that aligns the entire organization for success. He is proficient in a range of strategic planning and quality improvement methodologies, including Hoshin, Scenario Planning, and One Page Business Planning.
In his free time, he donates his expertise to non-profit organizations such as Companions in Courage, a foundation building interactive playrooms inside hospitals for seriously ill children.
Jeff graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Computer Mathematics and Statistics, and holds an MBA from Santa Clara University.
