I have been working in software industry for over 30 years as an engineer, manager, and executive, working in large companies like Samsung Electronics in Korea and AT&T Bell Labs in USA. I have also worked in small/medium companies, a government agency, and a university. So I have a wide range of experiences in software development, management, and also in academia.

I have a PhD in computer science and worked in the areas of telecommunications software, database management, internet security and software engineering. I have developed various types of software using conventional approaches such as structured and/or object-oriented techniques, and now I am a big believer in the agile and scrum approach. I became a Certified ScrumMaster® in 2011, Certified Product Owner® and Certified Scrum Professional® in 2015. I also became a Certified Scrum Developer® in 2017.

Now I am a Certified Scrum Trainer®, the first & only one in Korea.
