Christoph Schmied

My name is Christoph Schmied and I am currently working as a Trainer and Consultant at JIPP.IT GmbH in Gleisdorf.

I started my extra-occupational studies in IT/IT-Marketing at the CAMPUS02 an university of applied sciences in 2008 and joined JIPP.IT in 2009. From that time on I was focusing on working with Agile Methods, especially Scrum.

As I have my background within the field of systemadministration I wondered if it is possible to apply those Agile Methods to this field as well. Therefore I choose this topic for my bachelor and master thesis where I developed a framework for Agile Systemadministration, which is based on Scrum and the dynamic system development method accompanied by some other methods like the Viable System Model, Service Engineering and Service Design.

Over the last few years I had the chance to work on many different projects, teams and different roles. Through this ongoing variety I was able to see good and not so good examples of Agile Implementations and I am eager to share those along. Another thing I am constantly interested in where else,beside of software development, Agile Methods can be carried out successfully.
