Claudia Badell is currently working as a Principal Quality Engineer (+4 years).
For almost 7 years I worked as a teacher for the Computing Science Department (InCo) within the School of Engineering at Universidad de la República, where I participated in the Software Verification Laboratory course in the last 2 years (testing course of the 4th year of the Computer Engineer degree).
In the past, I worked as a Testing Team Coordinator where I defined and implemented the testing process to be applied among the different teams in the company. Each team was fully dedicated to a project and the methodology of working was SCRUM. The defined testing process standardized the manual and automation testing activities. In addition, I was in charge of training the testers in test cases design techniques, and providing support and training for functional test automation as well as the following tools: Selenium, AutoIt, JUnit, Cruise Control and TestLink.
Previously, I worked as a Tester (almost 3 years), on a wide range of software testing projects covering the following activities: test planning and monitoring, analysis of systems and their business domain, test cases design and execution applying different strategies and techniques, defect tracking and elaboration of reports.
I hold an ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate (2010) and I am a Certified Scrum Master (2010). I attended the Soft Skills for Project Leaders of IT seminar (2011) and I performed the Black Box Software Testing: Foundations course by the Association for Software Testing (2013).
