About the Trainer – Nino Zeljko

Agile trainer and coach with 10+ years of software development experience, Certified Scrum Trainer®

After ten years as a software developer, Nino started his journey as an Agile coach and since then he has been helping people and organizations discover better ways of working. During those years he has worked with many organizations, teams and management. His passion is helping them change and improve, and create environments where people feel more satisfied and engaged, enabling them to use their potential, achieve better business results and provide better products and services to their customers.

During his years as a software developer, he had roles in design, development, deployment, testing and optimization applying different technologies on number of projects with various clients from different business domains.

In 2011 he found himself working as a developer in a Scrum Team – that was an eye opening and career changing experience for him and since 2014, he has been working as an Agile coach to help others improve themselves using Agile values and principles and adopt the Agile mindset. Over the years, Nino gained extensive experience working with teams, management and organizations, also in different contexts outside of IT like pharma, marketing, HR etc.

In 2016 he became the first CSP (Certified Scrum Professional, Scrum Alliance) in Croatia and in 2024 he became the first CST (Certified Scrum Trainer, Scrum Alliance) in the region, joining the community of top-quality trainers of less than 300 in the world, only 3 in whole Eastern Europe. Nino has delivered 20+ Scrum Alliance certification courses through co-trainings with various other CSTs since 2018, 100+ non-certified courses and presentations (English/Croatian) on various Agile topics and facilitated many workshops and sessions.

Nino is also an active member of the Agile community, organizer and speaker at various meetups, regional and global events like Global Scrum Gathering (Scrum Alliance), Agile Slovenia, Bosnia Agile Day, Agile Hrvatska Meetup etc.

There are no prerequisites for attending this course.

This course is designed for anyone who is interested in gaining deeper knowledge and understanding about Agile and Scrum, whether you participate in the development process (Scrum Masters, Product Owners, development team members, analysts, designers, programmers, testers, etc.) or you are part of the environment and interact with people who do (stakeholders, project managers, HR, organizational managers and leaders, etc.).

Those who are at the beginning of their Agile journey will get a solid foundation to build upon and learn how to start, while those with prior experience will get a chance to reflect on their own use and understanding of Agile and Scrum, gain additional tips and tricks, fill gaps and deepen their knowledge and understanding on how to help improve Scrum adoption in their teams and organizations.
