The course consists of four sessions, each covering different aspects of Agile and Scrum.

In the first session, we will dive into the details of Scrum Master and explore its relationship with Agile. This includes understanding the Agile timeline, exploring various frameworks within Agile, identifying potential violations of Agile principles, and discussing empirical dysfunction.

In session two, we will focus on facilitation and its importance in achieving successful outcomes. This will involve an overview of facilitation, understanding divergent and convergent facilitation, navigating the "Groan Zone", practicing effective facilitative listening, facilitating discussions, and creating working agreements and sample agendas.

The third session will center around coaching and high-performing teams. We will discuss different coaching stances, how to respond to various conflicts with empathy, when and how to implement Scrum practices, the concept of self-organizing teams, and the difference between groups and teams. Additionally, we will explore effective team development practices.

Finally, in session four, we will continue delving into high-performing teams and exploring Agile companies. Our goal in this course is to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively implement Agile principles and achieve high-performing teams within your organization.

In order to enroll in this course, it is necessary for you to have already earned your Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification and have practical experience working as a Scrum Master. This will provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge, allowing you to fully engage in the techniques taught and reap the maximum benefits.

To obtain your Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification, you must meet the following three requirements:

  1. Hold a CSM certification
  2. Demonstrate at least 12 months of experience as a Scrum Master within the past 5 years
  3. Participate in and successfully complete the A-CSM course

It is not mandatory for you to have 12 months of experience prior to taking this course, as long as you acquire the necessary experience before applying for your certification through the Scrum Alliance. This allows you to gain the required expertise at your own pace and convenience, ensuring that you are fully prepared for your A-CSM certification journey.
