Wow, what an incredible learning experience! I just finished the Certified Agile Leader course, and I have to give a massive shout-out to our instructor. Her knowledge of Agile principles and practices was truly impressive. It wasn't just textbook stuff; she brought it to life with real-world examples and a deep understanding of how to apply these concepts in various situations. You could tell she had a wealth of practical experience, which made all the difference. The class activities were fantastic – definitely not your typical boring lectures! She had us doing simulations, group problem-solving exercises, and even some role-playing that really helped solidify the concepts. These weren't just busywork; they were genuinely engaging and made learning interactive and fun. I especially enjoyed the activity where we simulated a sprint planning meeting; it really helped me understand the dynamics and potential challenges. The curriculum itself was excellent. It was well-structured, easy to follow, and covered all the essential aspects of Agile leadership. I appreciated how she broke down complex ideas into digestible chunks and provided clear explanations. The flow of the course made sense, building a strong foundation before moving on to more advanced topics. Her book recommendations were spot on too! She suggested a couple of really insightful reads that have already broadened my understanding of Agile leadership beyond the course material. It's clear she's passionate about continuous learning and wanted to equip us with resources for our ongoing development. But honestly, what stood out the most was her overall enthusiasm. It was contagious! Her passion for Agile was evident in every session, and it made all the difference in keeping us motivated and excited to learn. She created such a positive and encouraging learning environment. You could tell she genuinely cared about our understanding and success. Overall, this Certified Agile Leader course was outstanding, and it was largely due to the instructor's expertise, engaging teaching style, well-designed curriculum, helpful resources, and infectious enthusiasm. I walked away feeling confident and inspired to apply these principles in my work. I would highly recommend this course and especially this instructor to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Agile leadership!

Too little information was relayed. The format was constant break-out sessions with the other participants and most of the time there was no teachings to base the activity on. At one point, no one in one of my breakout session, even knew what we were supposed to be doing. With so many breakout sessions and so little teaching, the class is only as good as whatever leadership training and or agile scrum experience the participants have had, prior to this class. I did get some good information from my other classmates, but with this being the first level of this certification category, I expected a lot more foundational information on what the Scrum Alliance feels are the best leadership tools and concepts to be utilized within Agile Scrum. My Certified Agile Product Owner experience, two years ago, was disappointing, as well. At this point, I am questioning the overall validity and value of Scrum Alliance certifications.

It was 3 days of learning and I took away useful concepts that will stick for a long time. The session itself was very well designed, very interactive and ample room for everyone to voice their leadership experiences. I would highly recommend this for folks looking for not just learning but adopting an agile mindset to better themselves.

Good high level presentation of agile leadrship concepts.

Would love to hear some more theory in the class. Exercises are good, but some more theory and expert led learning would balance the class well
