About
My name is Treasa Overton and I have been a Certified Scrum Professional for the past several years working to obtain my CEC and moving towards CST. I have to say I am an Agilist, I am an enthusiast when it comes to Scrum. My introduction to agile was impromptu and disorganized but I was enthralled, SCRUM had me hooked. I have helped coach teams at several companies such as Kaplan University, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, American Express and most currently at USAA. I have the extreme honor to have been recognized for my coaching abilities by way of USAA creating a HR designation for me, that of Lead Agile Coach, although I may not remain the only Lead Agile Coach at USAA, I will always be the reason the role was created and the first ever in a company the size of the military's bank of choice. I've coached through teams through some of the most trying and difficult of scenarios where the Agile Scrum teams were geographically diverse, and the ideal of everyone working together in a single location, its been a great challenge and I am looking forward to moving upwards in my Agile Certifications to become a true leader in this methodology.
