About

Title: Coach agile

Christophe Addinquy is a software professional since 1992. However, having a short experience in geology, he also has been practicing development since 1980. His professional track is a path of passion.
In the early 90’, I was involved in the object-oriented development in C++. I joined a CASE tool company in 95 to develop one of the earliest UML case tool. At this time, I also discovered the Design Patterns and the patterns community. It leads me to be involved in the patterns conferences : The EuroPLOP in 1998 (where I met Jim Coplien and Alistair Cockburn among others), with a pattern paper, and the PLOP in 1999 at Urbana Champaign, meeting some GoF guys among others and presenting a pattern language. At this time, XP discussions were already spreading around.
I really involved myself in agile in 2001, promoting XP practices in my team, working iteratively on front-officce pricing systems. In 2005, I was considered in my consulting company to lead the move to agile, Scrum beeing considered as a de facto standard. I follow a CSM course with Craig Larman.
In 2007, I join a company as back-office director, in order to lead the move to agile of the development teams (3 teams).
In was a member of the team who create the French Scrum User Group in 2008 and stay at the bureau as secretary until 2013.
In 2013 I join a consulting company as Agile Coach, helping company to reconsider their culture and the way they consider their value chain. I help them to move to Scrum, not only by implementing practices, but more importantly by understanding and living the deep implications of the agile mind set.
