The PO course gave me a lot of ideas and impulses to transition my work to scrum and becoming a PO. I got a much better picture now of what a PO needs to do and how we can achieve it and there is lots of work I will do to get there (especially working on the customer satisfaction and setting up framed experiments to make better decisions). Carlton was flexible to react to my interests and created a sphere of trust and lightness which made it easy to ask questions and discuss real challenges that my team and I are facing right now. I also like that we have the mirroboard available after the course, so I can go back and remind myself of concepts that we talked about. Beyond scrum Carlton made realize once again how important a positive attitude, trust and openness is when working in a team or leading a team and it motivates me to invest more effort in people while trusting the fact that productivity will automatically come by empowering the people.

I recently completed the Certified Scrum Product Owner training with Carlton on July 27-28. The training provided a solid understanding of the Product Owner role, with a strong focus on Backlog Management and Scrum practices and principles. I have mentioned during my training that I am currently working as both Business Analyst and Product Owner; Carlton helped me understand the difference between the two roles. He answered a ton of questions from me, and he was very patient. When we didn't understand the activities, he would guide us to the correct answers. In addition to that, Carlton was knowledgeable and presented the materials in a clear and engaging way, making complex concepts easy to follow. Since we gained confidence from the training, we happily shared with our team what we learned and introduced new ways to improve our current processes. Overall, I would highly recommend Carlton as a trainer and also this valuable certification.
