Jing Wang (Philip) has over 18 years experience in the software development industry. He has led teams and participated in the analysis, design, development, implementation, enhancement and testing of applications in the areas of eCommerce, ERP, Fund Settlement Systems, and has extensive experience leading offshore projects including 4 years for products focused on the Japanese market and over 10 years on products developed for the North American market.
Since November 2006, Philip has held increasing responsible positions at Perficient (China) a US NASDAQ listed (PRFT) IT consulting company where he is currently a Director of Operations. During his time at Perficient Philip has been a strong proponent of Agile principles and practices. He has not only applied these principles and practices in the various projects he has led but also coaches non-Agile experienced project leads to develop their understanding and application of these techniques. An active member of the Agile community in China, Philip has been the organizer/co-organizer and presented topics for the Agile Tour Hangzhou Stop for the past several years. He has also been a volunteer at the first Global Scrum Gathering in Shanghai in 2010 and two subsequent Regional Scrum Gatherings. Besides providing daily coaching to multiple project teams, his current focus is DevOps and applying Scrum in large-scale organizations.
In addition to holding CSM, CSPO, CSD, and CSP Scrum Alliance certifications Philip is also a PMP and CMMI V1.3 ATM (Audit Team Member).
