Collin Rogowski. I started my professional life as a software developer in a small billing company while I got my masters degree in Artificial Intelligence & Computational Linguistics.
After that I worked for three years in a startup in germany (called ComBOTS), trying to revolutionize the way how we communicate over the internet (think google wave with avatars). This didn't work out however, so I worked for two years as a unit lead at United Internet, where I helped develop GMX.com, an international version of the popular German webmail service GMX. After that I worked at Vodafone, where I helped develop the product 360: a service available for multiple handhelds and on the web (at 360.com), which allows the aggregation of social networks and of email and sharing of contacts and photos.
I'm now the head of inovex Academy, a unit of inovex GmbH which offers trainings on a variety of IT topics.
I started working with Scrum in 2005 when I joined ComBOTS and have been using it in various forms (and roles) ever since.
