James Taylor

Jim Taylor has worked in software development for a long time. He began his professional life as a developer using jcl, assembler, and cobol.  After being the victim of poor project management, he decided to give it a try. He found that even implementing a couple tools - risk management and communication planning resulted in significant improvements. A great mentor introduced him to project management methodology and RAD and from there he became excited by the power of disciplined process.  He became a serial experimenter with new methodologies. He has worked in SLC, RAD, XP, Scrumban, and Scrum and has read up a bit on Lean, Kanban, Dev Ops, and Crystal.  Currently the teams he manages are totally rocking scrum and the decision to train them all in scrum and earnestly follow the process has yielded dramatic improvements.
