The Fearless Agility Virtual Certified Scrum Product Owner Course is an introduction to the principles, practices, values, and mechanics of Scrum for those who will have Product Owner responsibilities involving Scrum teams. Through a combination of lecture, group discussion, and hands-on simulation activities, students learn how to become effective managers, Product Owner’s and stakeholders for Scrum teams.

Upon successful completion, attendees will earn the official designation of “Certified Scrum Product Owner” by the Scrum Alliance. At this time, the Scrum Alliance does not require an exam to obtain CSPO certification.

Commitment

In Jimi’s virtual workshops, participants are expected to fully engage using Zoom and MIRO on a desktop or laptop (a mobile phone may also be needed, depending on bandwidth).

To create a supportive and effective learning environment, all attendees must arrive on time (no more than 15 minutes late), participate with an open mind, and treat everyone with kindness, support, and respect.

Attendance is critical—participants may not miss more than 45 minutes of content. Those who do not meet these expectations on Day 1 will not be permitted to continue on.

Jimi was a great teacher with a lot of real-world experience that made the content engaging and relevant. It was great to do hands-on activities and I took a lot from the course.

My goal for this training was to understand the Product Owner role: what a PO does, why the role exists, and how it works in practice. While I enjoyed the interactive games and found them engaging, they were not supported by sufficient explanation before or after the exercises to clarify how the terms, concepts, or outcomes related to the Product Owner role. Without that connection, the activities felt more like games than learning tools. After completing the class, I do not feel confident in the PO role, and if I were to pursue a PO position, I would not feel qualified based on the content provided. A significant amount of time was spent on self‑promotion, long rants, off‑topic commentary, and an app concept rather than practical PO skills. To improve the effectiveness of this training, I would recommend clearer instruction on PO responsibilities, stronger alignment to real‑world application, and intentional debriefs that explicitly connect exercises back to the Product Owner role.

One great thing about Jimi is that he genuinely cares about his students and because of his empathy, it has enabled him to be a great instructor as well as a great project manager. I assure you , you won’t regret enrolling in his certification courses.

Very interactive course, not just death by PowerPoint. I've now attended three classes and will come back for more.

The instructor was very engaging and provided interactive materials that helped learn the course content. However, this course felt like it was targeted at a very entry level audience and I did not have many takeaways I could apply to my work that I was not already doing.

Great training session, very engaging and easy to follow. I appreciated how jimi kept things relaxed while still delivering real world insights into how product owners actually work. Learned a lot!

Jimi did a great job making the sessions engaging and easy to follow. The course was very interactive with simulations, discussions, and practical examples that helped connect the concepts to real product thinking. It was a really enjoyable learning experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to better understand how product teams work in practice.
