HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE LEARNING

The key to learning is class engagement.  This class blends theory and practices through simulations, games and stories to create a fully immersive experience that allows participants to learn and understand key concepts by experiencing them throughout the class.  The public class format allows us participants with different backgrounds, experiences and skill levels to learn not only from the instructor but also from each other by sharing real-world solutions to real-world problems.  The goal of this class is not only to have students understand the fundamentals of scrum, but more important how to leverage scrum to help create highly collaborative, sustainable and succesful teams.

THE INSTRUCTOR:  GIORA MOREIN

Giora Morein is an Agile Transformation consultant and Certified Scrum Trainer. He is the co-founder and former CEO of BigVisible Solutions – a market-pioneering Agile Enablement firm that was acquired by SolutionsIQ in 2014 (now part Accenture). He brings over 15 years of agile coaching and executive consulting experience, building, coaching and training high-performing, Fortune 1000 teams and organizations. Most recently he has focused on Agile Product Management and Marketing as well as helping large enterprises create sustainable and scalable innovation culture and practices.

Giora partners with senior executives, product managers and delivery to provide them with guidance on adopting, enabling and scaling Agile. During the course of his career, he has developed proven approaches in ramping up, maturing and scaling agile as well as creating comprehensive training programs focused on agile principles. Giora has worked with a diverse portfolio of companies including: Merrill Lynch, Fidelity Investments, John Hancock, Cessna Aircraft, Bell Helicopter, Nike, Blizzard Entertainment, McKesson, and GE Healthcare (formerly IDX). He has helped medium and large organizations to successfully scale their innovation and agility initiatives.
