Dr. Manish Anand is an award winning SaaS and software systems expert with solid experience managing continuous delivery/continuous integration pipeline for software products. With 4 technology startup experience and over two decades of building software systems with Fortune 500 companies under his belt, Dr. Anand brings a unique blend of academic, industry and innovation driven excellence to his classes to train students on core computer science concepts. In addition, Dr. Manish Anand has over a decade of C-level Executive management experience with software startups managing on-shore and off-shore teams of software engineers and managers.

Software systems built by Dr. Anand have been awarded multiple Department of Energy grants, featured as best new mobile application in iTunes, and his scientific papers and patents have been cited more than 500 times by experts in software systems. Dr. Anand has hands-on domain expertise in software, energy, education, hospitality and retail industries with previously held employments at Nokia Research, Microsoft Research, Adobe, Best Buy and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. 

Dr. Manish Anand is a Scrum Alliance certified CSD instructor and a Red Hat Certified Enterprise Linux Instructor. He also holds CSM, CSD and RHCSA certificates along with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Michigan and an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Illinois.
