I have been working for more than 15 years, predominantly in Financial Sector. Spent 13+ years in Financial Publishing & Printing, at Aptara, where I held multiple roles and grew within the organization, started from PCO, Project Manager, moved to Business Operations as Manager, lead teams for 2 years, and became part of Business Development and Sales, reaching out to potential clients in USA and finally left them as Senior Manager, where I managed process transitions. Had travelled extensively to US and was engaged in sending proposals for lift-and-shift processes or migration to a home-grown tool, which helped corporates reduce cost and time.

Did multiple transitions, starting with Bowne, RRDonnelley as Lift-and-Shift and migration to Aptara’s tool for clients like DG3, Labrador Company, Command Financial. These publishers were primarily into financial reporting to SEC @ USA, utilizing XBRL (extendible business reporting language) and typesetting for print and web. Were big in mutual fund reporting, re-branding activities, updating websites and legacy forms to new versions, with new logos, content, et al.

Also, was a part of process, where web content – PDF and websites were made accessible/ audible for customers with special needs. This was being done for NYLife, an insurance company due to regulatory requirements of being 508 compliant and WCAG 2.0.

Because we were managing confidential data of corporates, Aptara got its facility certified for ISMS : ISO27001. I was trained as internal auditor and had lead certification project from Business side, engaging & collaborating with IT, Administration, Resourcing & Finance Team.

Got invitation to immigrate in 2016 and decided to pursue PMP and left Aptara. Landed here at Canada in January 2017 and took 4 months to get started with RBC as Project Manager in June 2017 on 6 months contract, where I managed a Cybersecurity project.

Started working with CIBC Technology PMO from February 2018 and am managing Intelligent Process Automation projects/ initiatives, utilizing both Scrum Team and Waterfall framework.
