Andreas Schliep

Andreas Schliep is a co-founder and principal Scrum coach and trainer from DasScrumTeam, Switzerland. As a developer, team and technical project leader, he has implemented videoconferencing applications, Web portals, and communication servers.

As a Scrum Alliance member since 2004, practitioner since 2006, and Certified Scrum Trainer since 2008, Andreas Schliep has been deeply involved in the Scrum community. Throughout his journey, he has actively sought out opportunities to collaborate and support fellow trainers and coaches in order to enhance the effectiveness of their work with clients. Andreas has contributed his expertise to various volunteer teams and working groups within the Scrum Alliance, fostering a strong appreciation for the organization's leadership and community.

Andreas Schliep's commitment to expanding his knowledge of Scrum is evident through his extensive list of certifications and educator approvals. He has pursued a wide range of training styles and perspectives, including the concise and focused approach of Mike Cohn, the coaching stance attitude exemplified by Pete Behrens, and the inspirational teachings of Christopher Avery, among many others.

In addition to his individual accomplishments, Andreas has played a vital role in the growth and development of the Scrum Alliance. As a program and review team member for the Scrum Alliance path to CSP (Certified Scrum Professional), he has contributed to the creation of valuable growth opportunities for practitioners, trainers, and coaches. Andreas has initiated integrational efforts, such as the inclusion of Certified Scrum Coaches (now CTCs and CECs) in the retreats preceding Scrum gatherings. Currently, he is actively involved in volunteer work with the CSP program team and the ongoing improvements to the Certified Scrum Developer program.

With experience as a small business owner, he is familiar with the economic challenges and creative responses required in that context.
