David Sabine

David is a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org. He is also the owner/proprietor of Scrum.Works, an independent training and coaching practice. David works to improve the profession of software delivery. He helps organizations deliver products of the highest possible quality and value. 

His career highlights the intersection of business, technology, art and education. With his broad experience, he helps organizations and teams understand agility at all levels: practice and delivery, leadership and stewardship, organizational design and culture.

David has significant “in-the-trenches” experience using Agile methods with product development & application support teams — including Scrum, Kanban, and LeanUX. David has helped others employ Agile methods and practices in schools, hospitals, software design and development firms, non-profit fund-raising foundations, fintech enterprises, and marketing.

He is a Professional Scrum Trainer, Agile Business Consultant, Product Expert, Technical Coach and Software Engineer, Public Speaker, Executive Director of Ontario Scrum Community®, TEDx Alumnus, Musician, Husband and Dad. David works primarily in the Toronto area.

David is a former Endorsed Scrum Trainer with Scrum Alliance. EST was a pilot program of Scrum Alliance which ran from mid-2016 to end of 2017. 1400+ Scrum Alliance members were certified by David in his many CSM and CSPO courses.
