Matthew Reider
About
Matthew Reider has over a decade of experience applying agile principals to government software development efforts, from individual scrum teams of 5-10 developers, to Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe) release trains of over 120 developers designing and building systems of systems. As an agile coach, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), he has led efforts to develop and deploy software into public and government AWS cloud environments.
In the recent past, Mr. Reider was a task lead and ScrumMaster for a group of developers utilizing the agile Scrum methodology to develop prototypes of software that utilize various standards-based and geospatial web services. Mr. Reider has over 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in software development, focusing on XML content management, web services, and related technologies.
In addition to participating as a software engineer and programmer, Mr. Reider has lead product teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining content management systems, web applications, web services and SOA-based software efforts.
For several years, Mr. Reider has participated as an instructor/facilitator at the University of Phoenix, and has recently been promoted to a campus chair for the Northern Virginia BSIT program.
