As organizations scale, coordination increases—but so do dependencies and delays.
Teams may deliver locally, while the broader system becomes harder to navigate.
This course focuses on how structure and leadership decisions shape outcomes at scale.
What This Work Addresses
This course is designed for leaders working across multiple teams, products, or functions—where alignment is required, but difficult to sustain.
Not just how to scale Agile practices—but how the system those practices operate within behaves.
You will explore how:
- dependencies emerge and slow down delivery
- coordination patterns create or reduce friction
- organizational structures shape decision-making
- scaling efforts introduce unintended complexity
What Participants Gain
This course moves beyond scaling frameworks and methods.
It is an opportunity to examine how your organization behaves at scale—and how leadership decisions influence that behavior.
You will be able to:
- recognize patterns that create bottlenecks across teams
- navigate trade-offs between alignment and autonomy
- understand how structure impacts flow of work
- design changes grounded in real organizational constraints
Complexity and Systems Thinking
Complexity and systems thinking are used throughout the workshop to make sense of real scaling challenges participants bring.
Rather than applying predefined models, you will examine how constraints, dependencies, and interactions shape outcomes at scale.
The goal is not to apply a framework—but to see the system more clearly.
Working Across Systems
Scaling challenges are rarely isolated to a single team.
This workshop creates a shared space to examine cross-team and cross-functional dynamics collectively.
When leadership groups attend together, the work extends into how coordination and decisions evolve in practice.
For teams or groups joining together
Leaders often experience these challenges in isolation.
This workshop creates a shared space to examine them collectively—across industries, roles, and contexts.
When leadership teams attend together, the work extends beyond the workshop into how decisions are made day-to-day.
What We Will Work Through
- examining where coordination breaks down across teams
- understanding how dependencies shape delivery speed
- exploring trade-offs in organizational design decisions
- working through real scaling challenges participants bring
- identifying constraints that limit flow across the system
- designing changes grounded in actual operating conditions
How Sessions are Scheduled (Waitlist)
Individual registration opens as a cohort begins to form with sufficient participant interest.
If registration is not currently available—or if these dates do not align—you can join the waitlist and will be contacted when a suitable session becomes available.
If you are joining as a group (3+ participants), sessions can be scheduled directly based on your availability.
Certification
This course is aligned with the Certified Agile Scaling Practitioner™ (CASP) certification.
Certification is included upon completion, with the primary focus on developing capability to navigate complexity at scale.
