Lead the Strategic Product Journey with AI to Great Products
Product Owners - Acheiving Strategic Outcomes using AI
You're seeing AI everywhere in your LinkedIn feed, in executive meetings, in competitor announcements and you're feeling you need to catch up. Sound familiar?
"Everyone else seems to know something I don't"You see other POs posting about their AI wins, and you're wondering how they're actually using it for real product work (beyond asking ChatGPT to write emails).
"My stakeholders are asking about AI integration"And you're nodding along while trying to figure out what features will be valuable to add AI
"I don't have time to become an AI expert"You're already juggling sprint planning, stakeholder management, and roadmap updates. When exactly are you supposed to learn AI?
"What if I become irrelevant?"That nagging fear that AI-savvy Product Owners are going to leave you in the dust career-wise.
Strategic Product Discovery
I've watched product teams adopt AI the way they adopted Agile back in 2010, picking up surface-level practices and missing where the real value sits. Most teams use AI to write user stories and generate email drafts, which saves some time but doesn't touch any product decision that matters.
Product strategy typically fails upstream, when teams build on market assumptions nobody has tested and when discovery drags because synthesizing customer data manually is slow and expensive. That's where AI actually changes your work, and that's what this workshop focuses on.

Learn the Nuts & Bolts of using AI for Strategic Product Work
In this workshop over three live hours, you work through how to apply AI at the parts of product work where the expensive failures happen, organized into three areas.
AI for Product Strategy We start with how AI changes your ability to understand your market before you commit to a direction. That covers using generative AI to analyze your target audience in depth, running competitive and market research at a pace that used to require days of manual work, and using AI to develop and stress-test a product vision against your actual business objectives. We also work through how to incorporate AI into ongoing strategic planning and decision-making so it becomes a regular part of how you and your team think, not a one-off tool.
AI-Powered Product Planning This module focuses on the decisions that shape what you build and when. We cover AI-assisted brainstorming and scenario modeling for generating and refining ideas, how to use AI to analyze large data sets and inform long-range planning choices, and how to identify trends and surface hidden patterns or potential roadblocks before they show up in your metrics.
Customer Insights with AI The third area is where most teams leave significant value on the table. We work through how to clean and structure messy data so it becomes usable, how to run AI-assisted customer interview analysis and sentiment analysis, and how to use generative AI to surface behavior patterns that would otherwise stay buried in raw data.
You leave with specific prompts and frameworks you can put to work immediately, not just concepts to explore on your own.
Such skills are hard to learn via lecture or in a self-paced class - so this workshop is hands-on and interactive. This is no Powerpoint snoozefest. Short presentations cover concepts. Immersive team-based exercises are interwoven into each lesson to get you hands-on practice. Delivered in four hours, with brief orientation and closing sessions with the instructor.
What I want to be honest about
AI accelerates discovery work, but it doesn't fix a broken strategic process or substitute for the judgment calls that require a human with real context. What actually changes is the speed at which you reach those decisions and the quality of information you have when you do. That's the specific problem this workshop is designed to address.

Here's what students say about these online workshops:
"A moment of pride for the agilist in me. I recently received my Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credential from Scrum Alliance. Thanks to Anil Jaising, CST®, Certified TBR-VE and DevOps Trainer for a truly engaging and interactive learning session for the best practices and techniques that make an effective Product Owner and a true agilist." -- Garima Ahuja.
"Very insightful class. I am relatively new to some of the PO concepts and this class helped clarify things I had questions on. The interactive way it is taught is both fun and a great way to apply course concepts. I feel I gained tremendous knowledge from this course! " -- Chad
"I had an opportunity to go through a CSPO training with them. It was really good course and the trainer covered all the aspect of a PO’s journey. It gave me confidence of taking another scrum related course and the knowlede I carried was so helpful. The one and only feedback I have is that I struggled to keep track of the way course is going to run and then later I caught up with it. It may be helpful to have short video on to give an intro for students like me. If another course is offered and is relevant to me then I will surely take it with concept and beyond... " -- Asad Baig
"If you truly want to learn practical skills to become a product owner, this is the class for you. This class goes beyond making students sit through slides they will not remember the next day. This is an active learning experience focused on giving students practical experience through various case studies and activities. Not only is this a more enjoyable way to learn but also a great way to get the context and practical experience needed to grasp the concepts behind your certification." --Frank K

Product managers, product owners, and the leaders responsible for their direction. It's particularly relevant if your product decisions carry real organizational weight, where a misread market quarter costs more than a few sprints. Some familiarity with scrum is helpful. If you've been through any of my previous workshops, this extends naturally into territory we haven't covered together yet.
