Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. Attendees are allowed one transfer, but it must be to the same class type and can only be transferred for the next upcoming class.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes! We are happy to accommodate large groups and encourage full teams to sign up. Email [email protected] for more information on discount pricing.

What is your cancellation policy?

A 90% refund will be issued for cancellations made in 14 days or more from the start date of the course. For cancellations made in less than 14 days, we will allow a one-time courtesy transfer into the next available course. Any additional transfer requests will result in a $100 transfer fee. All refund/transfer requests must be emailed to [email protected]. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur that interfere with your class attendance. Attendees must contact [email protected] within 48 hours of the class start time to reschedule if they are unable to attend. Registration will be considered forfeited if no notice is received within the 48 hour window. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have questions about these policies. Module 1: Goal Setting Fundamentals

Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of SMART goals compared to non-SMART goals

Module 2: Strategic Planning & Alignment

List elements of strategic planning.
Associate cascading goals to various departments based on the strategy scenario.

Module 3: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

Create an OKR set based on the strategy scenario.
Compare different OKRs based on the alignment of team-level goals to enterprise strategy.
Summarize the need for aligning OKRs through at least three alignment mechanisms.

Module 4: OKRs in Scrum and Antipatterns

Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of using OKRs within a scrum framework.
Illustrate at least two OKR antipatterns in your organization.

What to Expect...

Breaks – The course will include frequent breaks to allow time away from the screen, time to stretch your legs, and check on friends/family.
Video Required – You'll be working with others in video breakout rooms. It's a unique way to engage with your classmates and dive deeper into discussions.
Tools – Our coaches have incorporated easy-to-use websites and online collaboration tools to support their lessons.

Joel has great use case scenarios that made it easy to digest the material

This was my second course with Joel (the first one was CAF), so I was already familiar (and looking forward) to his teaching style. I have been working with OKRs for 3 years, but recently I started facilitating the planning sessions where they are defined. This class helped validate many ideas I want to apply soon, + gave me a few aha moments. If you are torn on whether to take this course, I would encourage you to do it regardless of whether it's a brand-new topic for you or if you are somehow seasoned in the OKR world.

Joel combines deep knowledge with both practicality and humor - I was excited to bring what I had learned back to my team!
