Certified ScrumMaster®

I was very happy with the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course taught by Donald Patti. The class was engaging, well-structured, and highly practical, with real-world examples and exercises that made Scrum concepts easy to understand and apply beyond just software teams. Donald’s teaching style encouraged participation and clarity, and I felt fully prepared for the CSM exam coming out of the course. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to strengthen their agile skills and leadership mindset. The experience was so valuable that I’m definitely planning on taking additional courses with Donald.

Don's sessions were engaging and fun. Liked the group activities that kept the class alive during the long sessions. Brief intro to the AI use for Scrum was beneficial. He shared the prompts to the class to use as needed. PowerPoint slides were helpful to bring the clarity needed for first timers to Scrum.

DP was fantastic. He went into the perfect amount of detail that would be covered on the test. I know this was only a 3 day online course and I would have loved to have a longer time discussing things more in depth and for full real-world scenarios, but this was not the full purpose of the class. I did come away with an understanding that what I was trying to do at previous jobs had an actual basis, I'm glad DP taught us the different frameworks so I can now confidently back up when I try to organize jobs at work to keep everyone on the same page and things going as efficiently as possible. If I ever need to take another class, I will come back to DP first before I seek a different teacher. He blended teaching with exercises while keeping tension light with sprinkled in jokes but we stayed on course because of a well laid out agenda that was displayed on his workshop profile page.

For two 8-hour trainings he was able to keep my attention and give me the resources to be successful on the exam and in adopting the agile framework in my own organization.
