Certified Scrum Product Owner®

I recently completed the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) course with Rick Waters through Scrum Alliance, and it exceeded my expectations. Scrum is a newer area for me, and while I haven’t yet formally served as a Product Owner, the course made everything practical and easy to apply. Rick’s teaching was clear, well-paced, and hands-on, we built a product from scratch, defined a vision, refined a backlog, prioritized value, and made real trade-off decisions across sprints. This experiential approach really helped me understand the Product Owner role and boosted my confidence in applying Scrum and sprint planning in the real world. Rick also has a talent for making complex concepts understandable while keeping the depth intact. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking for more than just a certification, if you want real, practical knowledge about Scrum and the Product Owner role, this course delivers.

I think Rick did an amazing job teaching this class. He provided real world examples and made it a very engaging experience. It was a very hands on class. He took the time to answer questions, explain the situations and prove us with valuable feedback. Would absolutely take another one of his classes if he comes back to teaching. Sad to hear this was his last class for now.
