Manuel Ochoa is a passionate software praticioner, also I am a Certified Scrum Master in 2011 and Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2012 and a Certified Technical Trainer from Comptia (CTT+).
I got involved with agile methods since 2009, especially in Scrum. I helpd organize the first agile conference in Bolivia, the Scrum Bolivia Day 2012, Scrum Bolivia Day 2013. I am part of the team that organized the Regional Scrum Gathering Bolivia 2014, and for this year Regional Scrum Gathering Ecuador 2015. Also I am a continuos volunteer to review pappers for the Agiles conference in South Amenrica and for the Global Scrum Gathering Berlin 2014 and also I am a Speaker, presenting sessions in the PMI Tour Cono Sur 2013, in the Regional Scrum Gathering 2014 and the Global Scrum Gathering Berlin 2014.
The big first oportunity to work with Scrum came in 2011, when I joined a local software company that was trying to implement scrum, I help the company fufilling the role of Scrum Team member, after been in this role for a year and a half, the company decied that I replace a team member of the trainning department as Scrum master, which I worked for 7 months or so, then I got a promotion to be the manager of the entire team of training, During this time i was the Product Owner of the team given all the needs of the bussiness for our courses, I stayed there for 9 months. After this I went to work for a oil and gas software company as Scrum master and I still work there.
