Rik Dryfoos began his IT career in new media at Ben & Jerry's, becoming one of the first developers using Apple's QuickTime. After development stints at ForestWorld in Burlington and web production at Signalz.com in Montpelier, Dryfoos moved into a management role at Bear-Code.com, also in Montpelier.
In 2008 he accepted the position of Technology Director at a new media firm in Manhattan where he oversaw all phases of production and support. When that firm moved to New Jersey, Dryfoos moved to the SEM firm Didit.com as Engineering Manager for the development team. Didit is an XP team and actively pursues Software Craftsmanship.
In 2010 Dryfoos joined GE Healthcare's Burlington site as a Product Owner to participate in an agile transformation. In 2012 he accepted the position of Agile Coach with Global Research in GE's San Ramon Software Center. In 2016 he joined the GE Crotonville, leadership development team as an Experiential Learning Leader. In this role, he is responsible for learning & development strategy to effectively strengthen high-tech understanding at GE from a leadership perspective - especially through hands-on, experiential learning.
Today Dryfoos is a consultant on the Lab Zero team, working remotely and at client sites as needed to build unstoppable teams.
