Title: Technical Team Leader

My name is Tushar Saxena. I have 12 Years of experience in IT Services. I started my career with Tech Mahindra (TechM) in July 2007 after completing my Engineering course (B.Tech). I went through rigorous 3 months Initial Training Program (ITP) that compasses 2 months of Technical Training (C, Java, Unix, Oracle, JavaScript etc) and 1 Month of Behavioral/Soft-Skill training. I also went through multiple of Mainframe (MVS, JCL, COBOL, DB2) training before I was placed as a Developer in AT&T account. I played role of developer and my responsibilities were Requirement Understanding, Coding, Unit Testing, Prepare Low Level Design, UTR and other artifacts. This also included Production Support and Maintenance of various Mainframe and Web Applications. My work was appriciated by customer and TechM and was recognized with Award. In Dec, 2009, I joined HCL Technologies as Lead Engineer. I was sent to customer location in Malaysia for a year for Knowledge Transfer activities. My customer was TRW Automotive, USA. I worked as lead developer for clients on their ColdFusion/.NET set of applications and played a role of Onsite Coordinator. I was involved from Requirement Development to Delievery and was managing two offshore resources. I got "LiveWire Excellence Award for HCL TRW Engagement" award. I joined Capegemini India in July 2011 as consultant. I was hired for new account that CG got (MedAssets Inc) in Healthcare domain. I was sent to Seattle/Yakima USA for a month for Knowledge Transfer. I worked as Team Lead with SCRUM team of 7 (4 Dev, 1 SM, 1 PO, 1 QA). My role was split to 60%/40% with 60% as Developer (Agile) and 40% as Team Lead (Non-agile/semi-management role). I got trained for Agile/Scrum for two days for this. We were developing clinet's crtitical RCM (revenue cycle management) web product, ClaimsAuditor. I worked 1 Yr 8 Months in project and was Awarded with "Project Star" award. I joined IBM India in Feb 2013 as Technical Team Lead for CenturyLink Project. I'm currently working with IBM. As a lead, I was responsible in reducing client escalations, do defect free delieveries and take ownership of a troublesome set of applications and team. We were able to win client's confidence and took ownership of applications in few months. I was awarded with "SPARK Award for 'Leadership & Innovation'" and "Project Award" for my contributions. In June, 2015, I was moved to new Centurylink Engagement where I needed to build a new SCRUM team of PHP/ColdFusion/SQL skills and took KT of 20+ applications from CenturyLink USA. I'm currently working on this SCRUM project as ScrumMaster/Developer role.
