Kerri Heinen

I began my professional work in healthcare as a laboratory scientist at the University of Minnesota.  My next opportunities came through employment at the National Marrow Donor Program/Be The Match.  I have held positions as a Case Manager, Operations Manager, Business Sponsor on a technology transformation effort, Business Architect, Senior Manager and currently serve as the Product Owner of  two core applications for Case Operations.  One of these applications is the primary customer facing application and this role allows me to continue to expand my work as the voice of the internal and external application customer experience.   I act as a key member of the core software delivery team and hold ultimate accountability for ensuring that the team delivers business value.  Our team is using the Agile Scrum approach to software delivery, as our organization gradually scales into this approach.
