2004-2006         Regulatory projects related to Visa, MasterCard, American express and Federal regulations.

Visa, MC, Amex implement guidelines and regulations to issuers and acquirers two times a year. Has participated in analysis of requirements and project implementation. Major contribution is in design and development of Visa resolve online system for MBNA America. This system enables MBNA, Visa and acquirers to exchange credit card disputes and resolution information using XML files. The system enables MBNA call center and mail center specialists to create disputes. The disputes are created as cases and routed using a workflow system by FileNet. The cases are worked by the specialists and chargebacks are made to Visa, MC. MBNA’s Visa resolve online system gathers the case information and related supporting documentation and transfers to Visa as XML. Visa forwards the information to the acquirers and presents the response to MBNA as a XML file. The XML data is parsed and the case information is updated in MBNA’s disputes database. The project was implemented in Java, Java Imaging, BEA Jolt, BEA Tuxedo, C++, Informix, MBNA’s mainframe and DB2 systems.

2003-2004         Promotions project

This project involved in creating balance transfer promotions that can be activated upon certain events, disclosing the promotion information and activation of the promotions. The system was implemented in C++, Sybase, BEA Tuxedo and MBNA’s mainframe and DB2 systems.

Mapped these processes to existing systems in MBNA America. The existing systems in MBNA America were internationalized and modified to meet the requirement of MBNA Europe. Was involved in mapping the balance transfer process between MBNA America and MBNA Europe and creation of Balance transfer system for MBNA Europe. Has interacted and worked closely with Operations department in creation of new middleware servers for MBNA Europe. Implemented the modified systems successfully in MBNA Europe. The system was implemented in C++, Sybase, BEA Tuxedo, PB, HP-UX and MBNA’s mainframe and DB2 systems.

2001-2002         Pricing project

This project enabled MBNA America to change the contract rate(APR) on a card holders account systematically upon customers request. Calls for APR change will be received, the system analyses the APR change request using a strategy engine and presents APR’s that can be offered to the customer. The APR is systematically applied on MBNA’s mainframe and disclosure letters are sent. The system was implemented in C++, Sybase, BEA Tuxedo, PB, HP-UX and MBNA’s mainframe and DB2 systems.
