Vijay Kulkarni

Vijay Kulkarni is an experienced Agile Practitioner who believes and lives Agile values both in professional and personal life. He has been part of the Agile transformation for one of the Europe's largest retailer technology organization as a Scrum Master and Agile change agent. He has trained numerous teams in their Agile transformation and during their Agile journey while catering to Retail, Supply chain, Finance, UK Payroll, Networking, Data warehousing, Payment Security and IoT domains.

Vijay started his Agile journey in the late 2012 as a Scrum team developer with a focus on Technical Specialization in the area of Mainframe technologies for Complex systems' interfaces and API development. He then moved on to lead an Agile transformation initiative as a Scrum Master and a Change agent in the organization he was working for, by late 2013. Vijay got trained and became a CSM and then CSP with Scrum Alliance in the year 2014 and 2015-16 to take forward his Agile journey in a more methodical way.

Vijay is currently working with distributed teams spread across India and US by practicing Scrum, KANBAN, SCRUMBAN and XP from last 5+ yrs. He has conducted Agile & Scrum training across the organization to establish standard ways of working for the teams. He writes articles/blogs and also collaborates to develop strong leadership, vision and technical direction along with fostering enduring and productive relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Vijay is an Engineering Graduate in Computer Science from Visveswariah Technological University Belgaum, India and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IMT Ghaziabad, India. Currently, he is living in Bangalore and working with CA Technologies' Payment Security software development teams.
