Nikola Cvetanovski

Hi,

          I’m Nikola Cvetanovsk, from Rep. of Macedonia. I started my professional career about 13 years ago in one of the most challenging US government projects in Afghanistan. From the very first moment on the LOGCAP project, I knew that project operation and work optimization is my passion.

          In the past 13 years I’ve been working on a lot of different projects, starting on US military projects, government construction projects and then use my experience to manage or support different IT projects.

          At the beginning, I’ve been using a lot traditional project management skills with waterfall methodology, but, as the time passes, I’ve noticed that, even when the project methodology was strictly defined, I have seen different ways of getting things done, better organization and productivity, other than the methodology we were using at that time. I welcomed all project members to feel free to organize their daily tasks in order to make the work more enjoyable and in the same time more effective.

                When I decided to take my career in IT Software Development direction, I got familiar with Agile/SCRUM methodology and realized that SCRUM was my “optimal way of work” all this year and the methodology I was trying to implement on all of my previous projects.

                I’m very happy that, after all the years of searching for optimal and productive, I found SCRUM as a methodology. I’ve been practicing SCRUM almost four years now and I feel that the project work has never been that productive and “stress-free” and fun at the same time. I’m heading in SCRUM direction with no doubt for success.
