My name is Steve Bement. I've been doing software development since 1990, mostly in the fields of CAD/CAM/CAE and geometry visualization. I began using Agile (Extreme Programming and Scrum) in 2001, and then began coaching others on Agile in 2006. I've coached many individuals, teams, and organizations in the adoption of Scrum and XP practices. I find that the best way to learn XP is by doing it, so my favorite mode of coaching is sitting with teams and, mostly through pair programming, help them learn good practices related to test-driven development, refactoiring, simple design, and continuous intergration.
