Richard did an outstanding job teaching this course and skillfully crammed a significant amount of training into a compressed timeline all the while using Scrum and Kanban principles to lead the class. The breakout sessions were very helpful in achieving learning objectives and provided students an opportunity for hands-on experience with developing artifacts like the Product Vision Board, Product Capabilities Roadmap, Product Backlog and User Stories. Because this course assumes students have Scrum experience or have taken the CSM course, I would recommend one introductory module or pre-work/reading to cover foundational concepts and ensure all students are baselined with a general understanding of Scrum and the key players on the Scrum Team beforehand.

Class was broken down into digestible chunks, very easy to follow and Richard made sure that everyone understood the content before moving on.

What stood out most was the emphasis on collaboration—there were plenty of opportunities to work closely with fellow trainees through class activities and discussions, which really helped reinforce the concepts. The trainer ensured that everyone was involved and created a supportive environment for learning. Richard is a passionate trainer—you can tell he truly loves what he does. He's incredibly knowledgeable and brings a wealth of experience to the table.
