  • Exercise: One-Page Roadmap Sketch (Now / Next / Later format)

Session 2: Align Stage – Stakeholders, Outcomes, and Decisions

  • Lecture: Shared Outcomes, Mapping Influence, Framing Decisions

  • Exercise: Alignment Roleplay (stakeholder simulation)

  • Exercise: Stakeholder Alignment Canvas (real-world or fictional)

  • Mini-lecture: When not to facilitate

  • Debrief + Story: Real-world stakeholder politics

Session 3: Build Stage – Sequencing, Saying No, and Backlog Structure

  • Lecture: Sequencing vs. Prioritizing, Technical Debt, Saying “No”

  • Exercise: Sequencing Challenge (goal-based delivery)

  • Exercise: Backlog Audit (tag for deletion, refinement, outcome fit)

  • Mini-lecture: Framing techniques for stakeholder conversations

Session 4: Deliver Stage – Enabling Flow & Managing Dependencies

  • Lecture: Flow, Friction, Blockers, Team Dependencies

  • Exercise: Delivery Flow Map (visualizing delivery breakdowns)

  • Exercise: Slicing Challenge (value, learning, risk-reduction slices)

  • Debrief + Story: Dependencies that killed a sprint—and how to fix it

Session 5: Test Stage – Validation, Experiments, and Better Metrics

  • Lecture: Validating Outcomes, Cognitive Bias

  • Exercise: Analyze a Sprint Review (narrative + critique)

  • Exercise: Experiment Design Lab (hypothesis, test plan, metric)

  • Exercise: Metrics Makeover (rebuild metrics that drive decisions)

Session 6: Lead Stage + Integration – Product Owner as Influencer

  • Lecture: Influence Without Authority, Messaging, Scaling PO Impact

  • Exercise: Influence Mapping (alignment vs. authority)

  • Exercise: Strategic Messaging Jam (tailor for execs, stakeholders, team)

  • Mini-lecture: Bridging communication gaps

  • Full-cycle reflection: Which stage will you focus on this quarter?

  • Wrap-up, cohort celebration, certification checklist, next steps
