Agile Coaching Retreat Leader and Volunteers
Retreat Leader
Not just anyone can serve as a local volunteer team leader for an Agile Coaching Retreat. We’re looking for a unique level of experience and passion. Volunteering to lead a retreat requires a large time commitment.
Here are some things we look for in a successful ACR leader:

Must have initiative, drive, ambition, and willingness to commit a large chunk of time to the planning and execution of the retreat.

Ability to do site visits, coordinate with venu manager with the contract, picking meeting rooms and menu options, managing attendee reservations, and ordering and storing supplies.

Candidates need to have attended at least one previous Scrum Alliance Agile Coaching Retreat.

Candidates should have event planning experience.

It would be helpful if the candidate have participated as a coach at one or more Scrum Alliance Coaches Clinics.

Successful candidates can document their experience supporting their local Agile/Scrum community, other volunteer experience, and a general attitude of “giving back” to our community.

Preference is given to applicants who hold a Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) or Scrum Alliance Certified Team Coach (CTC) certification, or can document their active journey toward an Guide-level coaching certification.

We’re also looking for volunteers who are willing to be open to funding personal travel expenses, if needed.
Retreat Volunteer
Each retreat requires a volunteer team of 2-3 people to help with the logistics and planning of the event.
Here are some things we look for in volunteer:

Should be local to the retreat location.

You have a passion for the agile coaching community.

Must have TIME to help.

Detail oriented and ablity to see things through.

Facilitation skills are a plus!

Creativity is a plus (ability to create posters)!
