Cadence is a leading provider of EDA (Electronic Design Automation) solutions for electronics and computer hardware designers and manufacturers, with annual revenues exceeding $1.4B.

  • Operational Leadership
    • Playing COO role across U.S., Israel, India and Serbia for the company’s fastest-growing business unit, managing 4 departments: program and release management, product validation, configuration management and technical publications
    • Ensures high-quality product portfolio releases for > 100 unique products on an on-demand, daily basis (“pull” model) and on a monthly basis (“push” model)
    • Increased predictability of 100% clean product releases from ad hoc to weekly to 2x/week over 18 months; plans on track to provide daily availability within 6 months
    • Shortened code-freeze to release cycle for a $200M business unit from 21 to 7 days and reduced daily build/test/release cycle times for a $100M business unit by 25%

    • Built department from the ground-up, managing P&L of all implementation, data migration and educational services provided by internal teams and global partnerships in the U.S., Argentina and India

Served as a software engineer for the API and GUI for the flagship hardware simulator product. Transitioned into Operations as a project leader for configuration and release management. Was promoted 4 times in 7.5 years.

  • Completely automated build, regression test and release procedures for the $75M annual revenue flagship product, to reduce the release cycle time from 3 weeks to 3 days and eliminate the need for a separate Software Porting group
