I was a developer for many years before becoming a Scrum Master, and now an Agile Coach.
I've always enjoyed working through complex problems, and fewer things are more complex than building software with collaboration across multiple teams, but 'this is the way' : )
My strengths are coaching training and bringing empathy and a people-centric approach to problem-solving. Getting professional coach training recently was a great experience, and I enjoy finding practical ways to use coaching competencies. In coaching I really enjoy the focus on discovering and defining outcomes, and I think that outlook works well with product teams too.
Another keen interest is collaboration with product design and UX, and how to bring forward empathy with customers and the outcomes they need.
I am often at meet-ups and conferences in Ireland and abroad, and most recently I've been discussing complex questions with my friend Pawel, where the answers tend to start with "Well, it depends..." (https://www.linkedin.com/company/well-it-depends/). I'll be at the Agile Lean Ireland conference in Cork this year as well.
