Biography

Pete Behrens is a leadership and organizational agility coach who has been guiding enterprise agile transformation for over 12 years. Through his unique "inside-out" approach to agile transformation, Pete guides organizational leaders in assessing, integrating and transforming their organizations through agile leadership maturity, cultural alignment and organizational agility. 

Pete Behrens is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), and Leadership Agility 260 Coach. Pete also guides the Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Coaching (CSC) Program and currently oversees the CSC candidate review process.

Prior to his focus on agile transitions, Pete has over 20 years experience leading product development and architecture in adaptive, iterative and phased-based development methods for EDS and Rational Software. He led development of RequisitePro, the leading requirements management solution in the IBM Rational product line. He has extensive experience developing under the Rational Unified Process (RUP), Rapid Application Development (RAD), as well as more traditional phase-based approaches.

As the program lead, it is my responsibility to facilitate the review process, review teams, and review application. While a relatively new program founded in 2007, our numbers are growing each year with now almost 50 Certified Coaches. However, we believe our potential and need in the industry is 10x that number.
