Maximo Martin short Biography:
Currently CEO and Founder at Greyman Studios S.L., an animation, videogames and FX/CG company.
From 2009 to 2013: Information Systems Manager of Kandor Graphics, an animation movies factory at Granada, Spain. Covering task related to HPC and Cloud Computing, massive storage servers and Grid computing management.
From 2007 to 2009 I worked as General Director of the Free Software Research and Development Foundation (Fundación I+D del Software Libre), a non profit making organization funded in 2006 by Sun Microsystem and Intecna Soluciones.
- Develop FLOSS solutions for the public administration and the Spanish government .
- Research innovative solutions to products and services not present in the FLOSS scenario
From 2000 to 2005 I was R&D Director of several companies in Spain and the UK relating to Software Development and Communications Research using Free Software.
Between 1999 and 2000 I founded my owned Software Company named MxSoft; specializing in factory software and SCADA systems.
From 1993 to 1999 I worked as a programmer (first year), analyst (next 2 years) and R&D Director (last 3 years) for an Engineering Company.
I qualified as a Software Engineer from the University of Granada (Five Year Degree Program) in 1993, and finished my Phd program in the Department of Architecture of the Computer of the same University in 1995.
