About
Mirek Rzadkowski does Agile & Lean coaching, tooling, startup and implementations.
Whether you’re about to start your first Agile project or need to improve how your teams collaborate, I can help you get started, coach your team, or give you an assessment and strategy for improvement. My approach is completely tool vendor agnostic although I’m familiar with the latest modern tools platform from IBM Rational, Rally Software, and Atlassian. I specialise in modern application development methods and practices: Agile, Lean, Kanban, Continuous Delivery and DevOps. My interests and expertise lie in scaling Agile across full lifecycle and in large enterprise deployments with Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) decision process framework and with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) — the two dominant methods for scaling Agile across enterprise. Many organisations start their Agile journey by adopting Scrum as it describes a good strategy for leading Agile software teams. However, Scrum is only part of what is required to deliver sophisticated solutions — teams need to look to other methods to fill in the process gaps that Scrum purposely ignores. DAD and SAFe are non-proprietary frameworks, hybrid approaches, which extend Scrum with proven strategies from Extreme Programming (XP), Unified Process (UP), Kanban, Lean Software Development, and other methods. DAD and SAFe extend the construction-focused lifecycle of Scrum to address the full, end-to-end delivery lifecycle from project initiation all the way to delivering the solution to its end users.
